Whoever thought that shavejack razor blades are only for men is wrong. I find the beautiful handmade razor with walnut handle beautiful and very user-friendly. The fact that a tree was planted for each wooden handle is proof that Martina and shavejack take their work seriously and do something sustainable for our planet.
Martina also knows that as an entrepreneur you don't always see the sunny side. That's why she likes to share her challenges, so that not everyone has to go through the same turbulence. Read more about this interesting entrepreneur.

Who is Martina Waser?
I grew up in Switzerland and have strong roots here. Due to my curiosity, I used to travel a lot and think that this was by far my best education. I have two children, am happily married and co-founder of Shavejack.

Who or what shaped you the most for your professional career?
Initially my parents. They taught me to trust in life and myself. To courageously go my own way open minded but without any excuse. The entrepreneurial mindset is in our family's DNA. My grandfather and father were both entrepreneurs. Besides that, I had the chance to meet incredibly interesting and inspiring personalities, who influenced my personal and professional development. I have 20 years of experience in marketing and digital communication, 9 years in a leading position as managing director of an agency with an interdisciplinary team. By the end of 2018, I have decided to leave my comfort zone again and build up my own company.

Why are you a bwomen member?
Because of Claudia Bally. I met her last year and found her just great! Love the idea of connecting inspiring women and go further together. I hope that I can make a small contribution to increasing the number of female founders in the future.

On which topics can other members contact you and where?
I am happy to exchange experience with other entrepreneurial minds when it comes to building up your own company. Happy to also share my failures because we do not have time to make them all ourselves and because I have learned the most of them. You can reach me via mw@shavejack.ch
