Who is Martina Baeriswyl-Holzach?

I am Argentine/European and came to Switzerland after graduating my baccalaureate in Argentina to complete my studies in Lausanne. My different jobs at the time catapulted me around the world from the US to France back to Argentina, finally igniting my career in Marketing and PR in Zürich, where I now live with my Swiss husband and a mother of 2 inspiring daughters who study abroad.

Who or what shaped you the most for your professional carrier? 

I accredit my entrepreneurial DNA to my father. He was one of the most optimistic spirits and always pushed us 3 girls to be independent and learn from challenges or failures, due to challenging political and economic situation in Argentina, where we were exposed to great uncertainty through the codependency of terrorism and hyperinflation. In my corporate years I was lucky to have the right mentors at the right moment in the right positions to push me to take the challenges for a career in the pharmaceutical industry.   

Why are you a bwomen member?

I joined as a friend of Claudia Bally, who provided me with the invaluable opportunity of meeting extremely inspiring women. Bwomen is a great platform with a pool of interesting women, who share and support each other. I also enjoy the variety of webinars offered and can only recommend them further.

On which other topics can members contact you and where? 

With 25 years of professional experience in marketing and communications and as a passionate jewellery and fashion entrepreneur I am always ready for a cappuccino or a round of golf… I love to inspire women in their personal brand and look. Anything I can share about my other passion, Opera and Music, I am very happy to discuss and share.
